538 This book is a blending is the four gospel accounts into one continuous narrative. Dr. MacArthur has done a wonderful job putting together such a powerful resource. Each chapter represents an episode in the life of Christ. The chapter headings list the scriptures used in each chapter, and the text is notated with the initials of the particular book each segment is drawn from. The book is also fully annotated with the notes from the MacArthur Study Bible, which was a huge help to me.I bought the Kindle edition, and I read it in the iPad app. I found it very easy to flip back and forth between the text and the notes.The Kindle version also includes the full NKJV text, but I found it easier to use my own Bible when I wanted to go directly to the text, because once you follow a link to the Bible text, it's not always easy to get back to exactly where you came from (like it is with the study notes).
